David Mackereth is a medical doctor, who now preaches the Gospel, full time, particularly in the open air, but also on the internet. David became a Christian in 1982, whilst studying medicine at the University of St Andrews, in Scotland. From 1990 to 1992 David studied at the London Theological Seminary in Finchley, North London. This college was set up by Dr Martyn Lloyd Jones to train men for the Christian ministry.

Taylor was a missionary to China in the 19th Century, and his biography is full of interesting accounts. It also shows how faithfully God dealt with a man separated to His service, through many intense trials of affliction.
